Exotic Oriental

Top Notes: magnolia, Indian saffron  Middle Notes: gardenia, Haitian vetiver, Moroccan rose, Egyptian jasmine  Base Notes: amber, musk

Their print Ad campaign haunted me for years ( i don’t know it’s a mystery…..LOL)  i love Nature, don’t you find it inviting to be in a dark place with only the moon and the volcano erupting from afar to light you while you were basking in a warmth of flowing river?

Crave Calvin Klein

We launched Crave summer of 2002 in Rockwell Powerplant Mall, Makati Philippines with all youthful activities as it is marketed for male youth. The company hired a local group of hunk actors to provide a star value because we don’t have it, (LOL) as if Travis Fimmel’s ad blaring from speakers is not enough (LOL again) No, seriously they did a great job, they were responsible for that electric energy coming from screaming girls (if you count hysterical screaming as energy) It was a circus-y launch as there were stunts going on with skateboarding youth while we were busy giving out sample vials and delivering our line Fresh Clean Sexy. The packaging being plastic it can go seamlessly with your gadgets ( yes, it’s design for male youth) I being a fan of Crave bought items from Anonymous (they’re selling black and white no label items) because Crave looks good with other white thing (LOL). I can still feel the connection i once have for Crave- it being catered for those at their prime because i still am. (not holding back here)

We’re not allowed to display print ads of Sophie Dahl for Opium YSL because there are minors roaming around the mall and it’s also banned in other several countries and I’m sure those collaterals or POS ended up as your dorm pin ups. Check Ad campaign here

We were told that Yves Saint Laurent patented ylang ylang ( Philippines’ tropical flowering tree ) for her Opium; but I’m seeing it in latest several perfumes; I’m guessing patent has expired. Since then the perfume never failed to stir controversy (campaign wise) despite the scent being opulent. (Check out the blend)  I didn’t mean it to be a bad thing ( i mean a tropical country like the Philippines, it just didn’t sit well. Though sales pick up with the summer collection)

Givenchy Oblique FFWD

Floral Green

For a playful and fun sensory experience. That tag line is highly suggestive of fun and the packaging is like that of the toy (LOL) Well, it doesn’t explicitly suggest fun in bed thus Oblique. It only implies, who knows it can be pillow fight kind of fun. Anyone? (LOL too much.) Watch campaign here
